South appears to have revalued their hand upwards by quite a bit when partner showed a possible misfit! 1S might be more prudent, over which partner would go 1 NT over which South could bid 2D, or possibly 3D.

    Double dummy seems to suggest that 3NT is a winner. However nine tricks is reasonably lucky I think. The main chance seems to be diamonds 3=3 which is against the odds at about 36%.
