South bids to 4H by himself and pard turns up with side suit Ace, 3 card trump support and ruffiing values. Some players have all the luck.

CQ looks a dubious lead.
DDA on 5000 hands indicates there was relatively little between leads excluding the DA which was a stinker, beats contract only 27% vs others which are 32-34%
ReplyDeleteI would raise to 2H with the north cards. Although it is close and so pass is ok. This hand illustrates why it is important to raise. When there is competition partner will be much better placed when they know there is support and a few points opposite.
