The problem with bidding like this is that it uses up so much space and North has little idea of pard's hand over 3NT. Perhaps a go slowly approach would work better (assuming 2♥ doesn't have its natural ACOL meaning), with 1♥. If pard bids 1♠ keep the bidding going with 2♦ 4th suit forcing. If pard bids 1NT (15-17), then at least u know something about their shape and hcp.
