  1. Two sequences here, with neither table managing to locate a 5-4 major fit.
    At the first table east is culpable for not using stayman (many use puppet stayman over 2NT).
    However west, having described their completely to partner decided to proceed over partner's sign off.
    At the 2nd table it appears to be one of those 2D strong with 2H weak response. If a system can't find a 5-4 major fit when both parties have values, there is something flawed with the system.
