I would open West 1♦. I would open North 1♣ and pass anything partner bid. 4♥ in fourth position looks a very good bid. Partner is highly likely to have ~9hcp and it stops pesky oppo competing in spades.
♣T is not a safe lead given that RHO figures to extra values than normal pre-empts. Given RHO is presumably short spades the ♠A might be good.

Definitely open decent ten counts with a good six-card suit.
ReplyDeleteAt matchpoints I think I would lead the d4 as the safest option.
