  1. What's wrong with finding out about 4-4 major fits - particularly when you have xx as side suit, and one that they are highly likely to lead?

    Opening lead is interesting. Leading away from Aces is not generally favoured, but there is major suit bias, which possibly indicates a heart lead. DDA will be done.

    DDA indicates a very mild impact in favour of a heart (0.04 av tricks) over the next best, spade, which in turn is mildly (0.07 av tricks) better than a diamond, with the club trailing in 0.04 behind. The heart lead is ~2% better in defeating 3NT.
