Even so, the hand has 6 losers - is it reasonable to have three covers with their minimum bid? Probably not. If a partnership is playing long suit or short suit game trys then they can try and use that to finesse the situation more. Here with the balanced hand a raise to 3H would show something like the above so pard can use that as info that his QJ D and the QS may be useful cards.

Definitely do not expect a minimum raise to cover three losers. It can happen but is not the expectation.
